in rivers is a common activity, for men. Teenagers enjoy clubbing,
and of course shopping.

is there to eat in England?
English
food does not have a good reputation in other countries but there are
in fact some delicious dishes:
- Fish and chips
- Roast diner
- Stilton cheese
- Cakes and biscuits
- Cream tea
A full
English breakfast is a good way to start the day if you're not on a
diet, a traditional breakfast includes: sausages, grilled tomatoes,
mushrooms, fried eggs, gried bread and a cup of strong tea.
Curry is
not originally english but, the English love curries.
Sport:
The main
sporting events in an English year are: the FA Cup (football), the
Oxford-Cambridge boat race (rowing), the Grand National and the Derby
(horse-racing), Wimbledon (tennis), the Open Golf, the Six Nations
(rugby) and international Test Matches (cricket).
Fotball
it was so popular in the Middle Ages that some kings banned it
because the players became very angry and noisy. The first
international football match as between England and Scotland in 1870.
The “Big
Four Teams” in the English Premier are Manchester United, Chelsea,
Arsenal and Liverpool.
Cricket
is played by many English-speakings nations. The matches between
Australia and England are call “the Ashes”
Celebrations:
Christmas
and Easter are the most important festivals for English, but there
are many others like Firework's Night. There are fires, fireworks and
lots of hot food. Another is April Fool's Day. These day people are
allowed to play jokes on other people
Music:
English
pop and rock music is popular all over the world. From Rolling
Stones, the Beatles to Elton John to punk bands to Coldplay and
Radiohead.
Iconic
Places:
In
England there are Stonehenge, Hadrian's Wall, the Tower of London,
Westminster Abbey, St.Paul's, York Minister.
The Lake
District is one of the most attractive landscapes in the United
Kingdom
In
Newquay in Cronwall, you can enjoy surfing on the Atlantic coast. The
white cliffs of Dover are well.-known as they are the first thing
thaht you see if you come to England
