ORAL PRESENTATION

MY LAST SUMMER HOLIDAYS:

Hello, and welcome to my oral presentation, my name is Gemma and today I'm going to explain my las summer holidays. First I'm going to talk about my time in L'Arcada, second about the trip with my parents to València and Andorra, finally the return in Banyoles and the las day of the summer. 

LET'S START!

I spend 1 week in an English Camp, L'Arcada. We got up very early in the morning. After breakfast we did activities like archery, climbing... Then we started the English classes with American teachers. 

When we finished lunch me did more classes and then you could choose to do activities or sport. At nine o'clock we had dinner, and after dinner we spend some time doing night games or another activities. I spent a great time there, and I met a fantastic people.

In the middle of July I went to Roses with Clàudia, and I spend 4 days there. After these days, I went to St.Antoni with here for a week. Every morning we went to the beach, in the afternoon we went to Platja D'Aro or something like that.

In August I visited Valencia with my parents, I spent one week there. We visited "la ciutat de les Arts i les ciències", the cathedral, and the old part of the City. After the visit of Valencia, I spent a weekend in Andorra. There I went shopping all day.
After the end of August I returned to Banyoles, and I met my friends and I celebrated my birthday with them.

And finally the last day of the summer, I went to Barcelona for the protest to day that we want freedom for Catalonia.

OBSERVATION:

Presentation: I used some resources, for example the translate or a dictionary for some words, and I used a powerpoint for showed some photos of my last summer holidays.

Body Language and eye contact: I think that most of the time i was looking the audience but furthermore I was looking the powerpoint. I read a little bit of my notes, and i didn't do any gestures.

Structure: I organize my idees in  chronological order. I used discourse markers like: first, then, finally, after that...

Content

 i didn't look up for infromation because it was my own presentation. My oral was superficial, I didn't explain any detail.

Language: I checked some grammar, and some new words. I used: and, but, also, furthermore, however... and also i used well, you know... but sometimes I repeated some words

Pronunciation and Intonation: I believe that i didn't pronounce very well all the words, and I used a monotone voice all the time. So i think i will improve that.

CLASSMATES:

 Júlia: Every morning she went with Maria in Girona for a english classes, they spend 2h and a half.

Then she stayed in St.Antoni with Carla, every day they went to the beach and they took a boat.

In the end of August with her family, spend 1 week in a cruise, she met a lot of people there.

And the last day of the summer, she went to Barcelona of the protest, of 11 of setember.

Carla: She went to London, for pracitsed her english. Every day she did some classes, with a diferent people. Then she went to Sant Antoni, there she spend time in the beach.

With her family visited Croacia, for 1 week. There they saw a carnival.

Cris: At the end of June, she went to Seattle with Ivet. They stayed 4 days of a Jennifer's house, with a some boys and girls of Barcelona. There visited the city. After these days, they went Orcas islands, to camp Orkila. They first group was called Shaggy Beluguas, there was Paulina, Koy, Andy and Maddie. They spend 3 weeks with them, and they did a trip with kayaking around Orca's islands.

When they let of these group, they were very sad, but their their next group was amazing. There are Elijah, Nick, Mathea, Fiona, Tessa and Emmalie. They spend 1 week with these group, doing diferents activities, like playing with a kids, a lot of challenges by choice activities, jumping of the dock...

They enjoyed very much of this trip.

Then she spend one week in Torre Valentina with Gemma and some friends.

With her family they visited to China, the stayed 2 weeks there.

Then she celebrated Gemma's birthday, and she spend a great time.

 Ivet:  At the end of June, she went to Seattle with Cris. They stayed 4 days of a Jennifer's house, with a some boys and girls of Barcelona. There visited the city. Jodi Marias: He stayed in Banyoles, meeting friends all the afternoons, and some days he went to the beach.

There with his family they went to Pallars Sobrià, for visited his grandparents.

At finally he went to Andorra for shopping.

Francesc: He spend the summer in Jordania with his family. There they visitied a lot of things, they enjoyed very much of the trip, and they had a great time.

Quintanas: With his family and parents friends stayed in Palamós. They went to the beach, walking around to Palmós...

Then he went to Port Aventura, with his friendy and parent's friend. They enjoyed very much.

And in the end of the summer, he stayed in Banyoles, he met friends, he did a diferents things with them, and also he went a some summer parties.

Solà: he went to York, England for 3 weeks, with some friends. He stayed in an english family. He had a great time there.

When he returned in Banyoles, he went to Port Aventura with some friends.

 

Veciana: He spend time in l'arcada for one week.

With his family visited Boí, then they stayed in Brelagne.

Arnau: First he stayed in Mallorca with his family. Then with his tennis team, spend time in Lloret de Mar. And in the finally of the summer, stayed in PDA, with his cousins.
